As part of the BMA River 2 Reef Ride Festival — a much-loved community event promoting healthy, active living and raising funds for BMA CQ Rescue and Disabled Sport & Rec Mackay — we’re thrilled to offer Mackay schools a special opportunity.
The Wheelie Safe Kids program, created by NSW teacher and Ironman commentator Pete Murray, delivers a fun, hands-on bike and road safety experience for Prep to Year 6 students.
Valued at $1,700, the one-day program will be delivered free of charge to just five Mackay primary schools between 1–5 September in the lead up to this year’s BMA River 2 Reef Ride Festival, in particular the Golding Kids Colour Ride at Mackay Botanic Gardens on Saturday 6 September.
This is a unique chance to support safer cycling and celebrate active lifestyles in your school community.
Registrations close Friday, 6 June.
Help your students ride smart, stay safe, and be part of something bigger!
