The premium 100km Corry Cycles Gran Fondo distance is the pinnacle of the BMA River 2 Reef Ride Festival. It is perfectly designed for the seasoned cycling enthusiast, the dedicated weekend warrior, or anyone ready to test their limits and conquer the ultimate Sunday ride.
Remember, this is not a race—it is a high-energy, supportive journey through our stunning Mackay region alongside mates and fellow cycling enthusiasts.
Course Vibes:
If ever there was a day to cycle in Mackay, this is it! Out on course cheering you on will be volunteers from:
Mackay Pet Rescue
Pioneer Swimming Club
BMA CQ Rescue
Disabled Sport & Rec Mackay
Lucys Lucky Tags & Dog Rescue
The cheer squad doesn’t stop on the course, Pioneer Swimming Club will also be at the finish line with Triple M with the tunes and energy to boot!
Rest Stops:
To help you conquer the distance, you will be backed by the best community support crew on the roads. You will have two fantastic opportunities to take a break, shake out the legs, and enjoy a light refreshment: first with the absolute legends from Mackay & District BMX Club (Dumbleton Weir), followed by the high-energy team from the Eimeo Surf Life Saving Club (Habana Hall) at their respective rest stops. Once you have refuelled and recharged, you will be ready to power on to the finish line!
When you smash this milestone, you will roll right into our vibrant Event HQ to claim your ultimate post-ride reward: a hot, FREE bacon and egg roll from the Thiess Recovery Tent.
